But Polly be shoutin' at dem from inside his block "Nobody's lynchin' me."
"Are you fo real, nigga?!"
It's harmless. Just some Star-Trek-inspired RPG so barebones it makes Risus look like Phoenix Command. The autism mostly comes from every dipshit on itch.io making their own hacks because the rules barely even exist.Do I even want to know?Lasers & Feelings
Lasers & Feelings in a nutshellShow
Basically everything you could possibly do in the game is filed under one of two general categories, like "Lasers" and "Feelings", or whatever quirky other group the various hacks have come up with.
Whenever you try something, you roll a d6 and have to either try to roll high or low, depending on which category your action falls under. This is where you only real stat comes into a play: a number from 2 to 5 that tells you where exactly on the die one category ends and the other starts. If you roll this number exactly you score a critical hit, which usually has a cutesy name (like "Laser Feelings" in the OG version).
In the OG Lasers & Feelings, "Lasers" stands for science and rational stuff, whereas "Feelings" are everything else. Your stat number effective determines where on the Kirk-to-Spock spectrum your character is.
There's some other shit like picking your role/class or whatever, but all this does is maybe let you roll extra dice if the GM thinks it's fitting for what you're trying to do.
