Don't know, honestly. I think they were the first to dub Dragon Ball Z and just kept going. I can't remember why we got them over here, I think it might have something to do with the UK broadcast rights being owned by a frog company who then obviously got the Cucknadians to provide an English dub.

Gaynadians at least used to count their own anime dubs as part of their communist content requirements for TV being an X amount of Cucknadian produced content. I never figured out why you YouGay got the AB Groupe and Post-Saban Ocean dubs, being owned by the frogs makes sense.

Honestly, no. Most of the other distributors have dried up and Funi bought up all their licences.

It costs very little to get a dubbing studio in place. Sony could do it relatively quickly; they don't even need to do it in the States; have the new dubbing studio outsource the actual studio space and actors in Canada and boom.... Kirby Murrow IS Goku. This must happen so Kirby can tweet "So Sean, Guess I am Goku"

I think at most Bandai just licenses DB for games or toys. But Bandai has their own properties like Gundam that they're producing their own dubs for and such.
