So I'm getting most of my info here and it felt like some of these guys got collateral because they had to pick a side, because on this shit, you either pick a side or the mob will pick it for you.

A lot of voice actors either said nothing and haven't copped it or have only said 1 or 2 statements early and kept quiet. And even then, what is interesting is that only the Texas anime dubbing scene has been affected. The LA and NY sections have said nothing and Vic has still done dubbing work during this time for companies outside of Texas and there has been no backlash. It's only a very small handful of voice actors who have gone after him, it's obviously just some Funimation clique doing this and the ones who barely said anything haven't faced any backlash for "being neutral on Vic" or any gay shit like that. Everyone lashing out at him hasn't done this under pressure, they want to do this. Otherwise all of Team Four Star would have gone hard on him since without Funimation shielding them Toei would fuck them up.

No way will DB just disappear. That property is like the goose that lays golden eggs. Someone on foxdicks mentioned that Toei has their own USA branch called Toei Animation Inc in Los Angeles. They could do what the Pokemon Company did and just cut out the middle man and produce their own English dub. Losing Pokemon doomed 4Kids and it'd be the same fate for Funi to lose Dragon Ball.

Don't know, honestly. I think they were the first to dub Dragon Ball Z and just kept going. I can't remember why we got them over here, I think it might have something to do with the UK broadcast rights being owned by a frog company who then obviously got the Cucknadians to provide an English dub.
