I think you're right about Lupa not being interested in other people. In any of her social media accounts, she never talks about hanging out with friends or mentions anyone outside of her tiny group of "friends". It's always retweeting or reblogging SJW crap, fashion garbage, crap from her childhood, or mental health or anxiety issues. She's probably terrified of meeting new people IRL.

Phelan has had some friends appear in his videos. It's rare, though. He loves his toys, but I think he has a better offline social life than Lupa.

I tend to think it's more likely he's one of those herbivore men. He's probably straight, but asexual/low libido/doesn't give a shit about sex and the 'relationship' is more 'companionship', as it is for her. It's most likely a convenience for both of them.
