David Lynch's films of course, they are the one's Richard Kelly is ripping off his style. Especially Blue Velvet. I would stay away from Kelly's other movies The Box and Southland Tales, they are absurdly bad.

I used to see TV ads for Tha Bawks all the time. I've thought about giving ST and TB a shot because they looked like "interesting" bad movies. Probably not worth it.

I've never heard about The Box but I've seen Southland Tales. It's a bunch of gibberish that I'm fairly sure about having no fucking point at all. It's downright absurdly non-sequitor and doesn't manage to be interesting at any point.
