Also Nolan appears to have poisoned the well for the entire DCCU, since especially Man of Steel suffered from trying to emulate the same atmosphere.

It's not really Nolan's fault that Warners and other filmmakers are too stupid to realise that what works for Batman isn't going to work for Superman or anyone else.

Nolan wrote and produced Man of Steel, and executive produced Batman v Superman and Justice League.

Nolan always seemed embarrassed by the source material. It really became apparent in that last film when he was too embarrassed to call the character "Catwoman" and his really lame take on Robin. Those first two Batman movies of his were OK, but they were really overrated.
The Burton films weren't perfect at all, but at least he knew how to have fun with the characters.

Nolan wrote and produced Man of Steel

He didn't write Man of Steel. He actually strongly disagreed with Goyer and Snyder's decision to have Superman kill Zod at the end

and executive produced Batman v Superman and Justice League.

The extent of which was him being in the room during a couple of early meetings for both.

The Burton films weren't perfect at all

The Burton films were just as bad, if not worse. If Nolan's Catwoman didn't use the name but kept the character mostly the same, Burton's Catwoman kept the name but changed pretty much everything else about her. Same with Burton's Joker

but at least he knew how to have fun with the characters.

Batman Returns was such a joyless killfest that it indirectly led to the death of the franchise. Warners lost so many merchandising opportunities because of Returns that they decided they needed a family friendly Batman film for the next instalment, which is how we got Batman Forever and, ultimately, Batman & Robin

The only great theatrically released Batman film and the only Batman film that got everything pretty much right was Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

Once again, putting the "win" in Chegwin. Mask of the Phantasm is the only Batman movie that I don't even have minor complaints about whatsoever.
