I'm a Tezuka fan, but I couldn't get into that one when it was new. I tried rewatching it again recently, now more familiar with Tezuka's star system, but... I still don't get it. That part when the Ray Charles music comes in at the end makes me want to laugh instead of feel profound.

Tezuka didn't want to adapt it into animation while he was alive and I think he knew best.

What the fuck kind of name is Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX?

I've been seeing the cover art on streaming sites for quite some time, and only now i've realized that it's a Gundam show.
I thought it was a romantic comedy in a sci-fi high school.

And this thing is the main character, just in case you thought Thot of Mercury was the bottom of the barrel

The best Gundam is the one with blue haired Kenshiro as protagonist:

Don't tell me you're struggling with a basic Tezuka man-vs-machine plot.

I assume he was referring to that bit where the robot waifu can change gender at the press of a button, which is mysteriously absent from the movie.
