He can once he enacts his master plan of firing all the officials and replacing them with his loyal minions!

He can't even find a party or Vice President to be loyal.

The replacing with minions via schedule F I dislike, the term limits abolition won't happen.

It's a constitutional amendment, passed during Truman because avoiding another 4 term president was popular at the time. Assuming every Republican legislature was on board, Trump would still be short about six-eight legislatures to hit that threshold. And every Republican legislature will not be on board, even some of the ones that will, the effort could easily be blocked, I know the Democrats in our Unicameral filibuster billth often.

Assuming that somehow happens, his opponents could seize on that easily, meaning an 82 year old Orange Man would get to face the still popular Barack Obama. TL;DR shit just ain't gonna happen.

He's too old to go for lifetime rule. His kids are unpopular as shit and he doesn't have the kind of military support to entrench a dynasty. He has a hard enough time not being assassinated running legally in a fair election for a 2nd (completely legal) term! Imagine the uproar if he tried to become dictator-for-life. Entire battalions of tanks would drive into D.C. to kick his ass.

Mao took power because he was the popular leader of a violent revolution. Trump is a popuLIST candidate within a political system. And for his cabinet appointments, he has chosen sex offenders, conspiracy tards and tv stars. All variously hated figures. Trump doesn't have a Goebbels, Bormann or S.S. He's a lone figure on an island surrounded by quicksand. JD Vance couldn't win a race against a dead cat.

Trump bet everything on this election to save his ass from the courts. He won and now he can breathe a sigh of relief.
