Performance wise - I think Majors is keeping his end of the bargain. There have been three different personalities between Ant Man and Loki and they feel distinct from one another.

The problem is the character - a man who’s conquered dimensions and has thousands of different iterations all with different personalities. He has a laser that can erase people from existence and can see centuries into the future. The odds of Nigger Captain America with no super serum beating this guy in a believable way seems unlikely.

So they’ve written themselves into a corner.
