What are you playing?

Speaking of, i recently torrented more than 90 fucking Gb to see how that remake was.
I could have told you exactly how it was without playing it. Shit. Square Enix have never made anything good and certainly haven't done anything good with FFVII after the original game, apart from this animu

They should have just chucked all talk of this remake nonsense in the bin and done a 50 episode animu adaptation just like that one

FF13 with better combat
So it's shit. Good to know.

The last """good""" FF game was FF12, change my mind. The last actually good FF was probably Tactics.

I disagree. DQ VIII is good.

Dragon Quest VIII? Dude, I tried to like that game. Played it on ps2, got bored, quit. Played it on 3ds, forced myself to beat it, hated it.

Dragon Quest VIII is so fucking slow-paced and nothing happens. The game is simplistic to a fault, even compared to older DQ games, like III, IV and V. So much of the game is spent slowly walking from one point to another, fetch questing some bullshit to open up the next nothingburger part of the story.

The combat was, for me, unremarkable. Every character has their defined role and your party is often set in stone. I think the orchestrated soundtrack and visuals are a big part of why DQVIII has fans.

FFIX is really what the series should have continued to be, rather than a one off return to form.

Right on My Nigga! 8-)

FF8 was where much of the shit with morden (Or Nu-Final faggotry) begain they Threw leveling up out the window in favor for the needlessly convulted and half-assed " Conjunction Junction system" an GFs.

Controversially enough I liked FFX but the "Grid Sphere" was the same bullshit form 8 albeit nowhere near as bad in 8

FF 11&12 is where it all started to go downhill and 13 is one-of-if-not-the biggist atrocities to ever befall mankind! Even more so that they made it into a trilogy!

TL;DR Tetsuya Nomura - NOT! ONCE!

Of course your party is often set in stone. The only type of customization you get is perhaps in the 3DS remake where they added 2 extra playable characters.
And of course are the visuals a big part. There are some quality outfits to find for Jessica.

Same thing for Sephiroth, who is introduced after Craudo-kun is separated from Barretto-san (if you think i'm joking, that's how the jap VAs pronounce their names without fail, and the Eng dub is Team Fag Star level of shit) after the first reactor blows.
"Jaaah, it iz I, Kraut Streif!"
Sack is still alive and it is heavily implied that he will be a playable character going after Flower Gurl in part 2.
I bet that Flower Gurl, Wedge & Co. will survive.
I can already picture a game journo where someone cries tears of joy because after several decades, he was finally able to safe Aerith :3

Overall, i don't understand why the soyboys who hate FF13 love this at the same time.
Is it because muh nostalgia? Maybe.
Is it because Nu-Midgar is full of niggers? Maybe.
Is it because bugmen will love and hate whatever their Boss loves and hates? Yes.
FF7 is teh greatest JRPG evar. FF7R could've literally been a longplay of the original and they would've loved it.

A longplay of the original literally would have been better than what they made.
