Eh, there's not much you can really do with it. I think Dan O'Bannon even said this, and said that Aliens was just about the only thing you could do with the concept.

Since Alien is a monster movie, there's still the option of having it haunt a small town where the evil mayor refuses to believe in the monsters because of some super-important town festival in the near future.

I couldn't resist it, this movie got so negative reviews I had to torrent it and see it for myself is it really that fucking bad (it is). I'm still not sure what this pos tries to be, a parody of the Matrix franchise? A huge middle finger towards the WB (who apparently intended to do this with or without the Wachowskis trannies)? Or an attempt of an actual serious movie (and failed there miserably)?

Watching the movie was somewhat fascinating experience in the sense that you rarely see such a total turkey movie made on such a big budget. Didn't anyone in the film's production team ever think about what the shit we're really making here? It's also interesting how the movie marketed as being so super woke ended up being so lacking on that side. Sure, there are strong women, dykes and niggers, all the bad guys are white men etc., the Usual Stuff, but on the whole there wasn't much at all politics in here. You're really gonna "take the red pill back from the right" with THIS?

Super lame crap. This is like a 150 min representation of "the left can't meme". Over-the-top talkative nonsensical bullshit that is boring, lame and extremely unwitty.

Again what I think is the worst thing about this shitty Matrix movie is that it is bad not because of wokeness but pure incompetence and hackery. That's really impressive if you think about it. That's why no one has given a shit about it with it bombing with barely a whimper. It's why no one blinked an eye when a producer came out and flat out said that this isn't getting a sequel. In Gibson's script the aliens no longer lay eggs and instead give off spores that metamorphose you into a xenomorph.
