One thing to keep in mind, is these are the latest testing requirements. The farther you go back in years the easier it would have been to get one. When I got mine, I got a full license at 16 with only an eye and written test. It's changed a lot since then.

Eh, it doesn't really matter. You could cite me the most stringent laws in the world to get a driver's license and I'd still call you a stupid faggot for failing. Germany is ultra strict about that shit for example and you'll see absolute morons on the road still.
Let's be honest here. If you're very young it's exciting and daunting but ultimately there's very little asked of you. I'm shocked that parallel parking isn't even required in the USA, never mind people being allowed to get a license on automatic only but being allowed to drive stick shift with it later on.
