This also protected everyone from a Big Trouble in Little China remake for the longest time.Whybother wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 1:32 amCarpenter was smart enough to hang on to a piece of the movie rights for most of his films. So when they remade The Fog he got a sizable check. When they made The Thing in 2011 he got a check. And so on. And those checks aren't dependent on the profits. They have to pay him up front before they're able to do anything else.

Carpenter is still a good director. Horror, action, you name it. Much better than Cameron even if they share the same audience.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 6:00 amThis also protected everyone from a Big Trouble in Little China remake for the longest time.Whybother wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 1:32 amCarpenter was smart enough to hang on to a piece of the movie rights for most of his films. Whose animation talent was promptly wasted when he had to animate those three nobodies at the end. I'm not really sure why Harry was even in this as he didn't actually join the others in reviewing.
Also, why do these three always have to bring up the Irate Gamer when they join forces? Dude is dead. Chris Bores himself killed him. I bet there are a few people in the comment section asking who that guy at the end was.

It's called overcompensation, especially Phelan which done several thing mocking Bores and I'm pretty sure he is the incentive of this. They use Bores as an example of someone who tried doing what they did and fail [at least in their minds], being shit at it, copying avgn, spewing nonsense and fallacies and failed miserably, thanks to this image, they can feel better about themselves. No matter how shit my stuff is at least I am not the Irate gamer, the laughing stock of the reviewer community.VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2017 8:24 amAlso, why do these three always have to bring up the Irate Gamer when they join forces?
The irony of it is Bores learned from his mistakes and refocused on a younger demo with his 'Puppet Steve' channel and has more views than Phelan. Phelan just like Bores delved into toy videos and they are doing nothing in views something around 15K.

Sigh took the words out of my mouth. Yes, Phelan was almost certainly the one behind this Bores shit. He has had an unhealthy obsession with Bores for the longest fucking time. If people think having a hate fetish for Angry Joe or Spoony is bad now, think of how fucking SAD it is to still be hating on BORES.
And the fact that Bores is pulling in more views than Phelan is hysterical. Bores wanted to grow and change, yet Phelan is still the same old passive-aggresive manchild that he's always been.

Did anyone here watch "Jesus Bro"?
Has a 7.6 out of 10
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5878326/
I think HBO or Netflix might pick it up and make it a series.

Oscar worthy scene

Why does Midnight Screenings have an IMDB page?
IMDB is a legendary horde of autism that I wish I delved into more before they nuked the forum.
