I would love to think that my tastes have matured or at least improved since SoK since I don't listen to podcasts where people sperg out about lolcows anymore.

Eh, the PKA podcast with Metokur about Wings was entertaining but I can't think of another example of a podcast about a lolcow being good.

I'm not sad, I subbed to him and he did nothing but post low effort shitposts that got him 20k views, videos that only took him 5 minutes to make.

Happens to most channels once they get big. I'm not apologizing for him either since I stopped watching him as well. His videos were definitely lazier and lazier the more popular he got. It happened to Mauler too.

Still, he had a lot of subs and that meant a lot of eyes on marzgit's fuckups.

Sometimes I listen to podcasts like Red Bar Radio or Revenge of the Cis/Nightwave Radio because they follow lolcows I'm invested in. I wouldn't call them great shows and the hosts are fags for a multitude of reasons, but they're more listenable than anything else being produced right now that I can name.

That is a good point, but I suppose these days I need podcasts that aren't all about lolcows. For instance I really started losing interest in metokur when he got that boner for Miscarriage of Acchild and the skeptics to the point he didn't talk about anything else.

I think it depends on how well the people hosting know about the lolcow and how fresh the info is. PKA worked because Metokur had little knowledge and was eager to hear more, while the PKA guys had numerous stories of Wings being a dick that longtime listeners have probably already heard or might even have been there for. Or when that black guy went on Bechtloff and talked about Moviebob thinking EA caused 9/11 and his Nintendo fan fic.

Of course this only works for those guys because they're freaks. Kaylyn is just boring, and a bit of a cunt as we've discovered. So unless someone has a story of her fucking over someone else, I highly doubt anyone has any interesting gossip.
