Someone on kiwi was asking why Steve Blum hasn't jumped in the dogpile since he's a big SJW. I'm not making an account there just to respond, but since guys on that thread are tracking this one I'll post what info I have here.

Steve and Vic are/were buddies, I'm guessing in a more authentic way than the snakes that backstabbed him, so he's staying out of it. There's video of them talking about how before Vic moved to LA he'd crash at Steve's place when he'd be in town for work.
