I don't think the moral choice system has aged particularly well. You can still end up as a hero even if you're acting like a bipolar nutjob or literally go "Mu-ha-ha I'm gonna betray and/or kill you all!" at every Jedi you come across.

Not really. The best you can usually do with moral choice systems is have about 15 different endings for your game, based on player actions. IE Chrono Trigger.

Speaking of Chrono Trigger, what do you think of Chrono Cross? I think it would better if it had been it's own game and wasn't a sequel to Chrono Trigger, i didn't really like Cross

Cross was fine. I have as much nostalgia for it as I do Trigger, almost.

Thing is, what it's not is a sequel to Chrono Trigger. It's an unrelated game that someone tried to lash to the mantle of Chrono Trigger. They give you a bunch of shitty exposition near the end of the game to try to rationalize that it's somehow not an unrelated game. But they fail.

What Cross does have is extremely solid visuals, beautiful use of color, a great soundtrack and a fun battle system. The story is overall fairly mediocre/confusing/stupid, and the accents gimmick gets really old. The 50 or so characters all feel too similar, which is probably why most RPGs don't have 50 fucking characters, lel. But I enjoy the game. It's just not a sequel to Chrono Trigger.

By the end, you can tell Cuckson is running out of steam and confidence. He thought he was valiantly defending his lord and saviour but then got very defensive and started dodging. Hell, by the middle he was on the ropes, because he put himself there.

I'm not done reading this all the way, but Cuckson is totally, 100% delusional. He believes Spoony Literally Did Nothing Wrong, Ever, and people were just being "harassing asshole lynchers" because the internet is meany-pants. All of Spoony's former fans who now hate him? They totally, 100% had zero reason to switch from liking him to hating him. They just did it randomly because they're trolls, haters, assholes and lynchers.
