If Brad really cared about making the Snibbety Snop: The Squeakwel, he could have just not made disco and still had his $8000. It's almost like he has no actual concern with making a quality product.

Looks like the tide is turning against him. If he was so determined to make Disco, he could have put more effort into production. Seems like he wanted to adapt a dumb idea and expected his fans to accept it purely because he made it.

We can fault Brad all day on the production quality of his movies, but the biggest problem is that they're poorly concieved, poorly written and full of repulsive characters that the viewer can't relate to or care about in any capacity.

There is only so much hype - and most importantly money - that fans are willing to generate if you continue to produce garbage. He'll be in for a rude awakening once this hype is no longer sufficient to fund his vanity projects.
