Anybody who wants drugs legalized is either an addict or doesn't live around people who do it. Believe me, it's not fun waking up with your apartment smelling like weed because you have nigga neighbors. Or coming home and the parking lot and surrounding blocks smell like it cuz a couple of niggas decided to blaze up in their car at 2 AM. Or having to smell it at the library or school or work or at the supermarket because some burnout has that shit burned into his hair and skin Pig-Pen style.

That doesn't even cover thugs dealing out in the open, or groups of smokers gathering on your stairs or the street corners and blazing up in front of God and everyone because it's common now and nobody wants to "snitch" and call the cops or even say anything.

Legalizing it is one of the quickest ways to separate the hopes which want to just smoke and do nothing from the actual hard working and productive.

I feel for you guest, I had some real ghetto nigger neighbors for a few months below me before I moved, they would smoke all the time and the smell just wafted through the vents, and not only do I hate the smell but I have asthma. I would actually knock and tell them I can smell it and try not to be a snitch but they just kept doing it so eventually I had to go to the apartment complex and they didn't care either.

Also, they had a baby that would cry about 16 hours in the day, and no I'm not kidding, this kid did nothing but cry. Fuck man I'm getting PTSD and don't miss apartment life at all.

It was a place that was good at first, then gradually got worse the more trash they started letting in. They were cheap though so obviously that didn't help.

Stories like that make me glad that I live in an apartment complex that has both a minimum and maximum income threshold and requires at least 2.5 months of documented employment from all able bodied adults living in the apartment (IE both my wife and myself, even if only one of us could afford it) before you're even able to drop the deposit and they start background checks.

Aside from dealing with loud children and a nosy dude next to us we've only had one issue with a guy smoking weed right below us and that only lasted for a month before the groundskeepers actually caught him and evicted him on the spot. You're not even allowed to smoke cigarettes in my apartment complex and it's great.
