This game even has hit stun. A bit crunchy on the combat though. Not as bad as 3.X, but a bit abstract.

But the best tabletop monk is from Tenra Bansho Zero, for he is literally Kenshiro. With ki blasts.

Oh, I almost forgot the one nerd we let into the group ONE time and he wanted to play a cleric, but a war cleric of Thor who constantly prayed to one shot every enemy and would roll constantly without warning. Tried to shift the focus of the game to himself and be party leader and everything. Was some serious fanfictioning. The group would cringe every time he spoke in character.

In contrast, we had another nerd who homebrewed a pretty awesome Summoner class that used exclusively monster generating spells and at higher levels could summon godly avatars for a round etc. Was pretty cool and he wasn't a Virgin like Thor cleric.

I can never play games like DnD because I get tired of everyone playing into memes and not paying attention to actual characterization.
