Australia can;t score a fucking goal in open play to save our lives. Just like Argentina's woes in qualifying were reflected at the world cup so was ours, and I'm glad a lot of Aussies are fucking pissed at this and want change. Bert van Marwijk who coached the Netherlands to the world cup final in 2010 flat out said he couldn't solve the problem for us, the only striker who looked threatening up front was Cahill (who was never a striker in his prime, he became one because our strikers have been shit for years) in the second half of the Peru game and that fucker is 38 and will likely retire now.

It will only get worse since our junior sides don't qualify for the Olympics any more because they can't fucking score. They lose to sides like fucking Vietnam with 70% possession but no shots on target, the odd weeaboo prick will pop up and say the Asian teams are just getting better but they are full of shit, we are worse and still dominate those teams but can't score.

The squad has improved over the past few years after the old men were kicked out in 2014 and our midfield will only get better but we really need to develop some strikers yesterday. I hope Tim Cahill retiring stops us from relying on him so much and forces others to step the fuck up so that useless cunt Juric never puts on the jersey again.

Half the game between Germany and Worst Korea is over and Germany is still fucking shit. Up front we can't even attempt to score goals, in the back everyone besides Neuer is fast asleep. Slow plays and waiting until Korea sits in front of the goal with eight+ players doesn't work.
Nothing works with that team. No energy, no ideas, no good plays, no fun and not even suffering. Fucking garbage. If they make it through this round they will get eliminated in the next one. I don't see the necessary change happening anymore.

And we're out. That was well earned. You've got to try hard to be that bad against Worst Korea. Embarrassing display in all games. The team never functioned. Can't make goals, can't defend, none of the new players worked out.
We had to win with a two goal lead, got helped out by Sweden and only needed one, can't even score in full no fucks given mode with all eleven players on attack.
Had we made it to the next round we would've gotten fucked by whoever in the next game anyway.
