Then again, in what fairness I can give, I'm not sure Spoony ever joined up with #WTFU or even made a gesture towards it, probably because that would require some modicum of effort. Still, highly amusing.

Of course he never joined up with it. His last official Spoony Experiment video is still blocked in the states, months and months after a fan pointed it out for him. No attempt to fix it, no video update bitching about the evils for Youtube. Nothing.

I'm more bothered by Linkara aping Moviebob's habit of "I'm just going to awkwardly split up all my tweets mid-sentence and make them annoying to read" rather than trying to have a tweet end on a sentence so it's more coherent. I know sometimes you have to split them mid sentence but that's at least 5 tweets in a row with being cut off mid sentence.

This is the most attention he has received in years. He'll never get to $5k again but he could capitalize off this extended 15 minutes of fame and create something that would bring back old fans and maybe make him new ones. It won't happen but if he wasn't a lazy moron it just might work.

I believe this is truly his last chance to recover. Metokur's CA series opened up the flood gates and the spoony's-a-shitbag catharsis storm has begun. New spoony rants are popping up on jewtube left and right. After this mass airing of grievances has passed, people will actually move on. Not people on the extreme ends of the spectrum like us or noah's dickriders of course, but the majority of people in the middle will stop caring about spoony in general.

Most of them probably had forgotten about Spoony entirely until Jim's video, and will do so again very soon. Spoony has a narrow window to start making videos again (good videos.) He could totally do it too, because most of his former fans are secretly still holding a torch/boner for the Spoon. Unlike DHI. I mean, I'm not going to watch his shitty videos because he hasn't been good since The Thing review, but many of his fans look back on fucking COUNTER MONKEY as quality content.
