I'm with ASS on this one, you're giving Joe way too much credit. I've seen other streamers having the same reactions in general, they act like normies, totally uninformed, often about the shit they're supposed to stream. And fucking no, they don't just pretend, because otherwise they would be the greatest actors of all time and would never fall into many dramas they often do when they say stupid shit.

Joe would have to be at least twice as bipolar as Spooner to pull of being genuinely in dark about games as an act on one hand (and again, just to be laughed at), and freaking out like a manchild about everything else in his fucking life on the other hand.

Vast majority does not follow these streamers or jewtubers for their wits. You can also hype games easily without knowing a lot, just focus on the main points that you can read about while on toilet break, if anything, their audience prefers it that way unlike having to fucking thing about dozens of little things they might talk about.
