It's like some moron claiming that some random Magic card from Mercadian Masks is going to be worth fuckloads, just that it has zero unique properties and never will. So basically like a standard land card where the art isn't even great.

Any kind of collectible shit that was made after whatever the shit is became collectible will forever be worthless. Once a collector's market starts people start hoarding new shit and keeping it tucked away forever thinking it will someday be valuvable. Bum is right that only original stuff is worth anything because it was all made before anyone had a chance to stockpile it.

Take a look at baseball cards from the 80s-onward, when baseball card collecting became a big thing. None of those cards are worth the paper they're printed on and never will be. Only old ass cards are valuable because no one gave a shit and a lot of people just threw them away back when they were packaged in tobacco (before bubble gum).
