It does need to end seriously. It was the most beautifully drawn book of all time, and it looked like it was going somewhere, but I have no idea where the fuck it's headed or what the point is anymore.

With the long breaks and fucking 20 years the creator has been making it, with end still nowhere to be seen, I think there is quite the possibility that the guy will die before he'll be able to finish it. What a shame. I really like Berserk (well, some of it), but half of the shit that happens could've been easily cut and the story could've already been concluded.

The only other manga I really liked, which is actually a succesful example how to properly end your fucking story, is Hellsing. That one is great, and also because whoever made it (perhaps it's a shame, but I don't know shit about guys making these stories) understood how to keep a story from expanding and eventually losing control over it. Seems like that happens to most of the manga that gets popular.
