I agree, even as someone who loves long-form content (mostly in the form of documentary).
Give me a podcast that lasts about an hour and covers the major points and opinions of the hosts. Put the rest of the sperge into an optional unedited version of it that releases a few days later for anyone who wants the real nuance of their shitty opinions.

Some of the better podcasts are the ones were they treat it as if it's actual radio program with segments and time limits.

Who the fuck would listen to this in 2018?

What kind of loser listens to podcasts at all? I know this generation is pure retarded, but it takes TOO LONG to listen to someone telling a story or whatever when you can scan through pages of text a hundred times faster.

Podcasts are (at least in theory) audio only content that I can slap onto a MP3 player and carry around with me when I don't want or need my face buried into a screen. The problem is podcasts, like all internet content, have no barrier of entry and so they're all shit.
