Well, you're in for a doozie : apparently DC back in 2011 wanted to waifu up their heroines and drive sales up with them via a new line of statues made by jap sculptors and launched the eponymus Ame-Comi line that took off by the end of 2011 and the start of 2012 :

The kicker to all of this? The guy, Santi Casas(SANTI-IKARI) did the art for the 3 issues of Ame-Comi Supergirl and it's the best drawn and choreographed issues in the whole run. And how does DC use him? Just stick him to some covers and have him do some sparring art for Uncharted comics and that's it, send him back to Spain. Yet know, beyond Greg Capullo both capeshit companies are more than happy to hire shitheads from tumblr instead of keeping people like Santi, the Gurihiru studio, Tommy Otsuka, R.B. Silva or other guys who can still draw and haven't semi-retired like Jim Lee has.
