I think I sperged hard about the first avengers movie much earlier in this thread. I'm not going to bother when people are probably bored of hearing about it.

In short: tons of pointless action porn and Joss' extremely shitty script.
Still better than Justice League - which even ripped off the "Weird alien with horns suddenly teleports to Earth to steal the cube-shaped MacGuffin" bit.

Rather kill half the Universe so everyone can have a good life, rather than having a whole Universe living in poverty, sickness and hunger.
It's a raffle, so it's fair.

And Thor was the only one doing something. Everyone else just... punched shit.

Also Chris Hemsworth starred in Home & Away years ago so he's the best thing to happen to the Marvel Universe.
Well, Captain 'Murrica did some ordering people around, and Iron Man was wiling to sacrifice his life to save everyone (as if that would ever happen before they'd introduce Black Iron Girl or whatever the fuck she's called).

Also the bit about the universe running out of resources requires a bit too much suspension of disbelief. The universe is huge, and for every habitable world there are like millions uninhabitable ones just waiting to be strip-mined. And that's before going into crazy shit like Dyson Spheres and ring world construction for max energy and space efficiency.

Also, why should Thanos - or anyone - give a fuck if some people living 2+ galaxies away suffer in poverty?

Terrible movie. Great first 30 minutes or so but after Thor leaves the Guardians it turns into garbage. Thor's plotline is the most boring thing ever committed to film, while the rest of the movie is just rubbery CG garbage flying across the screen at other rubbery CG garbage. There is literally no choreography in anything after the Hulk/Thanos fight. It's 90% animated.

This is a fucking animated movie.

Probably why it was so boring then since he didnt do shit, The only parts more boring were those ridiculously lame scarlet witch and vision scenes.

Nah, but only because it can't get worse.

It’s gonna be hilarious when Brad Bird outdoes the Marvel movies. Again.

He was portrayed as a funny side-kick.

Problem is that he isn't funny.

Yeah those parts where he needs to bring humor are extra cringeworthy but even on other parts his line delivery and facial expressions are just so wrong.
