Ten is like the maximum he can be sentenced if the sentences are concurrent. I'd be surprised if he gets sentenced that.

What's important is he WILL do time inside a prison and he's old enough he may very well die in there.

Even that's debatable. Like I said, he's in his 80s, he's going blind (he's already legally blind) and he's not really a threat to anyone. In light of his good behaviour, and in light of the fact that they'd have to make several special accommodations for him given that he's a sex offender (so they'd have to house him in a special unit) and he's going blind (so they'd have to give special assistance), they might just cut their losses and place him under house arrest for his jail sentence. They'd seize his plane and his passport and just let him serve his sentence in one (and only one) of his houses.

The Bill Cosby show was on but that's it. He's got no more relevance than Full House or Home Improvement. Maybe even less since it's an older show and dropped out of syndication much sooner.
Everyone knows him, sure, but he was never important. If that's odd to you, realise that fucking nobody knows who Oprah is.

Other than people not knowing about Oprah that's the same deal here in Australia, I only kind of knew of him as a young kid since that was the last time he was on TV at the tail end of his shows reruns. Other than that he was the puddin pop guy on The Simpsons and Family Guy, fuck I know him more from The Simpsons mocking him than his actual show. I gave more of a shit about Steve Urkel than him.

I'm going to echo what all the other foreigners said and say yes. People know who he is in Britain but he's not a big deal. I think the last time The Cosby Show re-ran was in like 2004 or something. Kugel equated his relevance in Germany to Home Improvement, I think he's actually less relevant than Home Improvement over here, because that re-ran more often and Tim Allen was Buzz Lightyear so people my age are actually familiar with him.
