Why is Spoony lecturing PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMMERS on good coding practice when his only qualification is a bachelor's degree in computer science he earned 13 years ago? We already know about his aversion to doing anything that's remotely productive or personally enriching. Does he really expect us to believe he's done an ounce of coding since he graduated?

I remember he claimed in his Mazes and Monsters video that outsourcing to India and China had made his degree worthless and himself unemployable. Even back then before I knew Spoony was full of shit, I found that hard to believe. I suspect he just couldn't hack it in the field.

If the programming language has a GC, that GC is probably not retarded enough to freak out at something like that.

If the programming language forces you to manage the memory yourself, you have to be more careful about what you're doing and what might happen, anyways.
