I am curious if Retroware TV knew what JewWario did behind closed doors, as they quickly snapped him up after TGWTG booted him out. He was up there within days.

All of them have been quiet about this whole situation, and he remained with them until he died.

Holly by her own admission knew a year prior to the Magfest incident. This means she willfully let Marzgurl share a hotel room with Justin knowing Justin's habit of fingering unconscious chicks. hell, the second Holly found out that underage girls were supposedly involved, she's required by law to drop everything and inform the police. All these people are fucking terrible, and their complaints all ring of wanting to have it both ways.

You're definitely right on the last part, but here's the problem: Aside from kicking him to the curb when he actually forced himself on someone, there's really nothing they could do about the rest. Maybe kick him off the site because they thought he was despicable, maybe, but not the rest.

I admit at this point that I don't know (or much care) exactly where the guy lived, but in most of the US, the age of consent is 16. It's up to 18 elsewhere. For some or all of this of this, if it involved someone below 16 or in states where it's 18, you can disregard what I'm saying.

That "I was 18, but mentally 16" is "I was of age of consent, but mentally, I was age of consent." Don't like the relationship, fine, but unless it's actually criminally abusive, you've got nothing to call anyone on. I really am sorry about that. Same with the "My Slave" thing. I get the impression that CA and Holly knew he slept around and that the girls were young, but didn't have anything they could actually call him on and/or he was just careful enough. He was definitely quiet about it if he did. Between that, Katie and the 'grooming' thing, I strongly suspect that the lot of them sat with gritted teeth for a long time, but you're still at the "You've got nothing."

So basically CA higher ups were reasonable in their dealings with Jewrapio, the producers were complicit about keeping it on the low because their name would be dragged into mud too and there wasnt enough proof the get him behind the bars.

Tldr CA was a shitty company with the video producers being awful people willing let shit go as long as it filled their pockets and threw the doge gravytrain to the wolves the second it became unprofitable. Who was suppose to come out this change the channel shit looking good exactly?

If they had allegations of JewWario grooming underage fans, they should've gone to the cops with the first even remotely credible allegation. If they had specialized department or group for dealing with the sex-crimes, they are certainly better at finding the victim and witnesses than CA's people. If they thought he's grooming them through the internet, in chats or something, they could've posed as an underage fan and prove the grooming that way, also you could get the chatlogs through suppoena or warrant.

Holly and CA shouldn't be let off the hook this easily, but I doubt there's anything law could do about it after all this time.

More that their hands were tied, but yes. If there's nothing you can do, there's nothing you can do.

For what little it's worth, I actually do believe that most of them were in the dark about this, at least until after the guy's death, rumors notwithstanding. The rest? Pretty much. I was actually surprised that there was such a shock that Doge and Co were incompetent and arrogant. I haven't watched them in years and they've never been subtle about it. They've flat-out admitted since day one that the collab movies were written day-of. Also, glass houses.

Lupa's complaints and the Olsen thing just get eyerolls from me. The rest of the 'address harassment from the audience' is another issue where, in practical terms, what do you want them to do that'll actually do anything? The answer, unfortunate though it may be, is Jack and Shit, and largely for the same reasons.

Until the JW thing came out, this was just a collective temper tantrum with consequences. Now we count the days until the next one hits them instead; if they're still relevant enough for it to matter.
