Tbh it has been a while since I watched Trinity, but I'm pretty sure her bow
turns into the UV light saw. That's the entire reason why it's a saw: She just holds her bow like a Bat'leth and has the bow string light up.

He might've gotten himself a new mechanic in the time between I or II. Or it could've been, I dunno, some of these humans working for vampires who got caught after he was about to spill some juicy intel (possibly related to the mad scientist stuff going on later).
It really did make sense for it to be Whistler. Instead of some asshole we the viewer don't have any relationship with.

Imagine spending a billion US dollars to be a loser. Could've watched animu and be one for free.

True, but he was kinda dead.
(Yeah, I know, movie logic "we didn't actually see it, sooo...")
And notice the bow-shape of that saw, the grip in the center and the two sets of arrows. One is the gadget bow, the other the lightsaber bow.

I know where you're coming from, I thought they were the same weapon too, until about the middle of the film. I would say watch it again but it's so awful I can't recommend it.

I saw Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses. I was halfway to loving it for being a great tribute to the first two Texas Chainsaw films, but I feel like he kinda dropped the ball in the second half and let it descend into nonsense.
I mean, the Texas Chainsaw films were crazy, but kept their internal logic up until the end whereas Corpses just kinda forgets the plot and characters midway through and just has random crazy shit happen. Which isn't very interesting or scary. You could argue the whole descending into lunacy is the point, but why bother building up the villainous family dynamic and then just drop it? For some reason, Zombie decided halfway through to include the supernatural and not bother explaining how the family can massacre whoever they want including police officers without any issues.
It would've worked a helluva lot better if they kept with the original idea of using the Dr. Satan legend to lure people in and just fuck them up. Maybe have Dr. Satan be a real person, fine. But the whole underground lair with monsters and shit, and turning Otis from a classic pissed off Sawyer-esque hick ranting about the lower class into some devil priest, fuck that.

Your mistake was watching anything directed by Rob Zombie. What a white trash loser. Everyone acted like they were upset when he got passed over for Crow 2, but City of Angels is better than anything he's ever done. Fuck him and his hillbilly wife.

Been watching the Blade films actually. Here's my take
Blade: Excellent film
Blade II: Even better
Blade Trinity: What the fuck went wrong?
I've love to know what the studio was thinking with Blade 3. As funny as the Snipes stories are, it feels like the production was already fucked before they started filming. It's low budget, it's filmed in Toronto instead of Japan, and for some damn reason they couldn't find a proper director and let the fucking writer do it. Biel's hot, though, and Ryan Reynolds is at his snarky prime. (Silent but deadly.) Dracula, or "Drake", sucks so hard though. He should be Blade's ultimate villain and like someone said, he looks like a Bulgarian bouncer and is about as dangerous as a villain-of-the-week on Arrow.

Their Dracula really needed a Christopher Lee or somebody of that calibre. Or, if they wanted to go younger, they should have got a hip, young metrosexual like Stephen Dorff in the first film. Instead we got what we got

They could have gone the other way with a sexy woman Dracula. Oh well. I'm sure Netflix Blade will be super badass and not PC at all!
Ladies and germs, I give you the best thread on CHUD: The Scenes That Are Problematic--totaling 15 pages now!

Broken Arrow, written by Graham Yost and directed by John Woo: Christian Slater ends a stand-off by ducking down and shooting his gun between Samantha Mathis' legs, then tells her "you can come now."
Jesus Horatio Christ. The scene's an immediately distracting black mark on an otherwise adequately decent movie. 22 years later, my most vivid memory of the movie is still wondering how the fuck that scene made it into the final cut of the film.
Literally making shit up. To someone's credit it gets corrected later on but everyone's just cool with it. Oh, and Trump was in a movie, so OMG! Time to fag out!

Blade 2 isnt better, the cornynees already creeps in there.
I recently watched the trilogy + some tv series and only the first movie and some episodes of the series are watchable to me, the rest is like comparing sw to disney sw.
