I have to wonder if killing off the critic and going the Demo Reel route wasn't doge's feeble attempt at a 4D chess move to correct that situation and take back his platform. But then I think, nah, that's retarded, Doge isn't smart enough to see any problem with some chubby gollum creature taking half his money forever in exchange for doing nothing.

It wasn't to be a "good guy", it was to have a shit ton of content on the site every day so they could make money off the site ads while Blip actually paid the others for video views. Individually there views were shit, almost no one was over 100k, but 5 of them a day plus whatever Doge would shit out was a lot of clicks a day they would not be getting.
