As shit as SoM's port is, it's an actual full on 3D remake, CT is just like those FF games where it's the shitty Android version upscaled like a Q-Tecd anime.

Squeenix' porting / remake strategy is all over the fucking place.

- Our old AAA JRPGs? Making 3D remakes like with FF3 and FF4 was way too much effort. Let's make anything after that as low-effort as possible!
- (With the exception of FF7 of course, which we'll pad out into a multi-part extravaganza.)
- The Mana series? Let's put more effort into those as we ever did for a FF remake!

Square enix hasn't made a good port/translation of a classic game since the PSP version of FF4. I miss the GBA days, when we got sick versions of all the good FF games.
