Since she wasn't even employed in the first place, she'd be gone that fucking instant.Poonoo wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 11:26 amIf it weren't for Germany's shitty laws he probably would. Presumably this was during work hours and not 1 AM in the morning.![]()

If I ring an employee up, I'm not obligated to their time outside of work hours. If you show up at work, I am. You better believe you have to go to the office for a talk if I tell you so.
But since he couldn't get into contact in person with her, a "No." and no answer to when she had time won't do.
She'd been better off if she didn't answer at all in the first place. What am I supposed to believe she was able to respond within seconds to type "no" and then shot up from her computer and walked away instantly?
That's comparing apples with oranges, though. It's not comparable to work you have to physically show up to. It's comparable to a website like Forbes, though. The people with actual contracts work in some office building somewhere at least some of the time so that's that line of communication available.
The ones only working via online contact are freelancers and those you can "fire" immediately as well. Because that's what she was. They had an agreement that she makes stuff, they host it and some agreement about who gets what money. Michaud didn't fire her. He told her they wouldn't host her shit anymore, which he wasn't obligated to do anyway. You make stuff, if I like it I host it. These are the ground rules, this is where what money goes. I don't like your stuff anymore, I'll just stop buying it.
Her complaining about getting fired is like some company complaining about me not ordering their stuff anymore when I was already unhappy with the stuff I got from them lately.
Yeah, I too profit from selling it to the end comsumer. But those potatoes have been full of spuds and all shriveled up lately and you don't pick up the phone. I'll just stop ordering all of them, let you know about my decision and that you don't have to bother sending the usual amount anymore and will look for some other farmer.
I swear, they are so unexperienced with actual working relations that they don't even know they aren't employed.
