The CA Google Doc
Re: The CA Google Doc
This shit is getting far more coverage than I thought it would. That vindictive bitch Lupa might actually hurt Doge and Michaud. I hope this leads to some interesting drama.

It really doesn't seem like the press will translate to loss of income for doge. He targets such a young audience with his videos nowadays, and he posts reviews of just-released movies, so I really don't think this can hurt his bottom line much. A few weeks of unsubs at max and then he goes right back to +300 or more subs per day, steadily, for the foreseeable future until the algorithm changes.

stream is jumping on the train faster than you can say "internet blood sports".
Re: The CA Google Doc
Man that stream was shit. I honestly shouldn't had expected anything less though. Just a bunch of thirsty beta cucks white knighting cancerous statements like "I was eighteen but I had the mind of a sixteen year old and it was grooming."

Bitches say that shit all the time.
"I had sex last night, regretted it the next morning, so it was actually rape."
You can't make this shit up.

One of my friends is going through this right now. She even got his employer to put him on paid leave while they did an investigation. They dismissed it due to insufficient evidence but she still harasses him with texts that he's going to pay.Rapeculture wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 4:06 amBitches say that shit all the time.

Your friend has my deepest condolences. At the very least, I'm glad he's in the clear, legally anyways.Osterzone wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 4:13 amOne of my friends is going through this right now. Re: The CA Google Doc
So, I read the document, because why not. Most of it was stuff I knew, a few things were new to me though. It did confirm the claim that Mike Michaud apparently owns the Nostalgia Critic character, which makes me wonder what in the world led Doge to sign over the rights to it.
I did find it a little amusing that Lindsay Ellis talks about how the Dan Olson and 8chan child porn debacle and how it made Michaud boot him from the site, concluding with "To be clear, Dan did nothing wrong, but was blamed by Michaud (and by extension, so was I) for attracting "controversy" from people who are somehow threatened by outing websites that enable child pornographers." No, Lindsay, the controversy came from the idiotic way Dan Olson decided to handle the whole thing, such as deciding to make a public post about it (allowing any pictures to be removed from their site and the perpetrators escape) rather than alert law enforcement who might then be able to catch the distributors. Also, you really used the phrase "Dan did nothing wrong" with how well-known that 'did nothing wrong' meme is?
By the way, that quote I had to manually type out because for some reason they set up the Google Doc to not be copyable. Why in the world did they do that?
