I actually hadn't seen the 5th season of YGO before and saw it was on Netflix. The Egypt arc is probably the best in the series, although that isn't saying a whole fuck of a lot. Its not trying as hard to sell you new cards. Bakura is obviously murdering people but 4Kids is cutting away, good times. I'm sure LittleKuriboh will do a good job spoofing it in 2027.

The Championship arc before that was cracking my shit up, in the dub the villain sounds and looks like the animu version of VoicesofReasonsPast.

Yugioh went downhill after Battle City. Should have just gone straight into the Zorc/Pharaoh ending rather then wasting time with the really stupid Dragons.

I like how Bakura is a complete pushover for 95% of the series and then in Season 5 all of a sudden becomes unstoppable. Its almost like this show isn't very well written.
People have pointed out the LittleKuriboh/Spoony similarities, right? The slow seemingly for no reason production schedules, the contempt for fans (although LK's is still subtle, but you can pick up on it), generally talented but squandering it on internet nonsense, Picking the first women that says yes to them...I know "Eventually, Everyone Becomes Spoony" is an ironclad internet commandment, but it remains true.
