Funny how animated capeshit (Fleischer’s Superman) tends to hold up better than live action capeshit (Man of Steel/Superman Returns).

You're a bunch of monkeys dancing for shekels. Dance and keep your pie holes shut, monkeys. Your dumbass opinions aren't wanted and aren't valid.

Nolan wrote and produced Man of Steel
He didn't write Man of Steel.
Every source I've read says he did.

And yeah, of course the animated stuff is better. I don't know why DC even bothers with Live Action anymore.

Simple: Because Marvel is doing it.

(They might also think your movie won't be seen as a serious and DEEP work of art if it is made in 2D animation.)

The only great theatrically released Batman film and the only Batman film that got everything pretty much right was Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Once again, putting the "win" in Chegwin. Mask of the Phantasm is the only Batman movie that I don't even have minor complaints about whatsoever.
My second one is the live-action one with Adam West. Easily the funniest capeshit movie ever made. Pure perfection.

(Also better Catwoman fanservice compared to Nolan IMO)

Michele Pfeiffer is best Catwoman.

The more capeshit tries to take itself seriously, the funnier the Adam West show becomes.

If you read about the behind of the scenes of Man of Steel and Batman v Superman you'll see Snyder had more authority than Nolan on Man of Steel and Nolan was a producer in name only on Batman v Superman. On Man of Steel he helped Goyer come up with the basic story but the screenplay was 100% Goyer, and Snyder is the one who had creative control. For instance, Nolan begged Snyder to not have Superman kill Zod but Snyder wouldn't listen. After Man of Steel ended up being such a shitshow Nolan pretty much gave up on capeshit. On Batman v Superman he didn't do anything other than have a small handful of meetings with Snyder and during those meetings he begged Snyder to not kill Superman but Snyder, once again, wouldn't listen.

"Here's the guy whose success at making Batman movies we'll use as momentum for our cinematic universe. Don't listen to a single word he says!"

It's like Warner wants to fail or something.

The success was because of the dumbass Australian who overdoes while making his shitty-ass movie. Nolan is trash.

The problem with 'Story by' is that it's a nebulous term that can mean anything from 'it was his idea and he wrote a few drafts' (ex: Leonard Schrader on The Yakuza) to 'he suggested a few things' (what we have here)
From what I remember hearing, Goyer wrote Man of Steel by himself, showed it to Nolan and Nolan made sure it got seen by Warner execs.
