Look, pal, I'm one guy who recently snubbed a job opportunity paying double, because the commute to it would be a nightmare. Even so, I live way under my means, thanking to the fact that I don't have any expenses beyond the bare minimum: groceries, basic domestic billth, Internet, and clothing twice a year (one for summer clothes, once for winter clothes). Because that, I manage to have enough spare cash monthly, without having to become a souless corporate drone, so I can have both an emergency savings account and a savings account for retirement.

It's all about how much you're wiling to sacrifice to save money. I don't own a car, because it's damn expensive to buy and keep proper maintenance; so I commute to work by hiking, by taking the bus, or by Uber. My phone is a piece of shit that cannot access the internet; I'm waiting for it to break before even thinking about buying a smartphone; and while my PC isn't he only thing I invest any expendable money on, even so I only do so after intense search for the best prices on whatever I'm looking for.

Ive been in all kinds of positions and a well paying job that lets you be yourself / good does not exist, I thought about it for several years since I can get any job I want, I just have never been able to find something Id not hate myself for.

At first glance you might think it easy, but just name some jobs here and Ill tell you why that job is not suited for someone who doesnt want to be evil, exploit others or a mindless slave (being smart and critical is a bad thing these days it seems).
