He can make fun of bad movies(anyone can do this) based on their superficial issues, but when it comes to actually breaking down a film and examining movies on a fundamental level, he can't. He has no idea how to describe what makes a movie good outside of just saying "the acting/story/cinematography was good" or just saying that he really liked the actors, which is why most of his midnight screening videos are him and his friend just spouting nonsense for almost an hour. It's also why all of his own movies suck, he has no idea what it actually takes to make a good film.
