He wasn't. To put this whole thing into context: Scarlett (I'll stick with that because it's easier) banned dozens upon dozens of people from the TSE forums and lorded over it with an iron fist. She had her asskissers that pretended she was hot all the time and she was very into going along with that, putting innuendo wherever possible.
Spoony at that point had already pretty much abandoned the forum, save for the occasional shitfit, yelling at his fans still left on that forum.

It was always obvious that she was more on the heavy side. But showing herself and revealing the true hambeast nature of her was a welcome opportunity for payback for the banned ones.
It wasn't just the height of Spoony's career, it was also the height of Spoony hate. He was at his most cocky and full of himself, despite already getting pretty shitty content-wise. He didn't hold back his actual personality of being a massive cunt even a little bit.

That whole incident pushed him entirely over the edge when it comes to sensitivity to opinions on him. Most people on DHI came from the TSE forums by far. He just used this opportunity to abandon the website entirely.
