What a title.

Glad I'm not the only one not giving a fuck about current year3 Oscars or lollywood in general. I haven't watched any of these movies, I have no intent of watching them and had to google who the hell is Emma Stone. Looks like some movie promoting tolerance and interracial(/beastialical?) relationships won the best picture, ho ho ho, now who could've seen that coming. The whole Hollywood has become a parody of liberal values in my eyes, you can keep your metoo/diversity/anti-Trump circle jerk fest. Oh, and good luck to all of you white men in film industry, you better hope they are not coming for you next for you asking a woman out back in 1994.

I have no idea why in God's name anyone would willingly subject themselves to an awards show. Ever have school prize giving? Or have to sit through a long school assembly while they give out trophies? They're unbearably dull.

It's one thing to have to listen to your headmaster drone on and on about your school and how well the school's doing (even if it actually isn't). It's quite another to willingly subject yourself to some spoiled shit TV presenter or professional play-pretender drone on and on about their one dimensional grasp of politics

Nope. Thankfully, participation trophies and stuff like that weren't around when I was a kid. Got best in class at the Bundesjugendspiele in something? You get a sheet of paper made in two minutes with cliparts by your teacher next day in class with a "Well done." and that's it.

I'm surprised the Emma Stone thing didn't get more traction. She introduced Best Director by saying, essentially, here are four men and Greta Gerwin. The woman was the only one treated like a fucking human being, while the men were just scum she was forced to mention. I'm surprised she didn't sneer when she said it. The only reason she didn't spit in Guillermo Del Toro's face is because he's brown.
