Re: Movie Thread
All I can remember about that one is that basically everyone in it was a moron, which helped kickstart the second zombie outbreak.
I know there's no place for logic in zombieshit, but even I have standards when it comes to this genre.

Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Re: Movie Thread
The best zombie films are either character-driven dramas (e.g. Romero's Dead trilogy, 28 Days Later) or comedies (e.g. The Return of the Living Dead, Shaun of the Dead). I have yet to encounter a great zombie action film. A lot of people love to masturbate to Snyder's Dawn of the Dead but I thought it stripped away most of the interesting aspects of the original film.

Why no mention of Braindead (Dead Alive)?

It was a total dumpster fire even back then. I view it as a self-correcting mistake. There shouldn't have been a second movie, making it a series. But it killed off that franchise real good so it's alright.veris leta facies wrote: ↑Sun Mar 04, 2018 4:32 pm28 Weeks Later (2007)
I had a mixed feelings when I watched this 10 years ago, but now after rewatching it I can say I truly hate this movie. Some good scenes do not compensate the completely daffy plot. Any way you try watch it the plot is just an utter silliness which defies all logic. This level of writing in this budget category film is just absurd. Plus there's the worst child actor (and character) ever in this, I prefer even Jake Lloyd in Phantom Menace to this.
Bleh. There's a good reason why Merlot was used exclusively in cuvées traditionally. Without something like a Cabernet Sauvignon to back it up it's wholly lacking of spice or zest, something interesting. One of the few grapes I'm not very fond of.veris leta facies wrote: ↑Sun Mar 04, 2018 4:32 pmGood Merlot is required while watching this of course

I had a crush on the sister that's all I really remember about 28 Weeks Later. Oh and Robert Carlyle was really good in it but he's always good.

Shit, you're right. It's one of the best zombie comedies. I forgot about it.
Re: Movie Thread
Best zombie movie was Resident Evil. Full-frontal Milla Jovovich bitches.
Game Night was surprisingly okay. It was funny, had a groovy soundtrack, and Rachel McAdams is actually hotter in middle age than she was at 20. Dat ass, bros.
