All I remember about the guy who made Freakazoid, Tom Ruegger I think, is that he hates Pokemon. Pokemon would kill his shows in the ratings all the time and it cost practically nothing for WB because it was outsourced from Japan.

Do you remember the Chinpokomon episode of South Park? When the parents watch the show and it's totally inane and incomprehensible--- that's me watching Pokemon.

Mainly (as Doge Walker correctly asked), what exactly is a Pokemon? Where did they come from? Are all the animals in this universe Pokemon? If not, what's the difference between an animal and a Pokemon?
