Every single idea Kubo had manifested itself in an entirely new character. The art started out okay but became abysmal, with shit like THE HEART, entire pages redrawn with minor changes in sequence, no backgrounds ever. He would even rip off filler episodes from his own anime.

Do any of you guys know anything about the Garo series?
It was recommended to me, but there is just so damn many series (anime and live-action) that I don't understand where to even begin.

I know a bit, though I wasn't aware it had an anime.

I would say start with the first show. That and the second one seem to be pretty gud AFAIK. Also the franchise has a bit more continuity compared to other tokusatsu shows, and many spinoffs revolve around already introduced side characters, so it doesn't hurt to start at the beginning.
The third dropped the ball a bit, and I dunno if the franchise ever recovered after that.

I especially love how he used fewer and fewer different faces as time went on. Uryuu Ishida for example started looking distinct from Ichigo, only to eventually morph into black-haired Ichigo with glasses. There's also a sizable amount of villains that look a lot like Aizen.

And not only does he redraw shit (he fucking loves the "Guy in lower left corner looking at the reader while some assholes jumps at him from behind, sword pointed at him"-panel) and hates backgrounds (even though he apparently had assistants for backgrounds?), but he's really into decompressed storytelling in that fight scenes look like anime storyboards - which is not especially good for a manga 'cause it means there's barely anything happening each chapter (which is one of the reasons why the last arc makes up like 1/3 of the entire manga or something).

I recommend looking up the chronological order of the series on the internet, i did that and found the info fast

I rewatched Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and it's still one of the best anime, even series, that I've seen.

Now I have no anime to watch :'(

I rewatched 2003 for the first time in ten years a few months ago. Was alright I guess, but having finally read the manga it paled in comparison. I've still never seen Bruddahood, which itself is almost ten fucking years old.

I've heard from multiple sources Brotherhood is better and more faithful to the Manga

Yeah but it's still not 100% the mango experience, so I gotta see it at some point.
I still haven't rewatched Conqure of Shambala, too lazy to dig out my external I have it on.
