And much work? Isn't this basically a HD version of the International Zodiac Job System, aka the Japan-exclusive PS2 remaster that has already existed for over a decade?

It looks like a fucking HD texture pack that random fuckers make for Dolphin emulators. The Shadow of The Colossus remake has a similar price but they completely redid the graphics for that game. Fucking weebs.

Hm, i can either pay, like, 10 bucks for it on a PS2 and get more or less the same game, or 50 bucks for a shitty update and possibly watch my computer's SSD get blown out by Denuvo. Squeenix is fucking greedier than the scalpers too, just look at that crappy new secret of mana, 60 bucks on steam vs ~40 for a SNES cart.

The SNES version of secret of mana is better too. The new art style looks terrible.

SoM had some great art direction and great spritework. The only way IMO to make a true HD remake involves hiring Vanillaware to do the job.

They should have just straight ported the game with zero graphical update. Just some kind of hd version so it outputs on modern tvs without looking like ass.
