I can't be bothered to watch it, so I'm running with this, but tells me that Lindsay didn't do much in the way of research. Two words: "Twilight Moms." Also, I'm fair sure Meyer herself would disagree with her.

I'm one of the few people who actually has this bizarre respect for Meyer. Her work's crap on pretty much every level, but if you catch enough bits from her, you start to realize that Twilight was written largely in the mindset of "Hold my beer, this'll be awesome!" which turned into "Fuck all ya'll, I'm making money!" At least until the last book, which she very much didn't want to write.
