Trying to see just how little effort he can put into calling himself a "film maker"?

Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Re: Brad Jones, The Cinema Snob
I think this, at some point, happens to all these Internet Nobodies. They started reviews as a hobby. Started to make money at it, and that was awesome because they didn't need to get normal jobs like us plebs. They become arrogant and SJW then the backlash begins. They start to realize they really are nothing more than organ grinder monkeys here to entertain us, and the only support they get is from an endless parade of human debris. Then they hate it, but it's too late to start new with a real job. They're pushing closer to 40 and they have mortgages now. So they either keep going, despising their fans, or they do what Spoony did -- self-implode.

You know ten years ago I started painting Warhammer and I can see a massive improvement from then to now in my work.
Picking up new techniques, improving methods, uping my standards.
How can you have a hobby for so long and show no improvement? Brad's been making his awful movies for years and he's right where he was then. Nothing changed. And to even say he can improve with time is a joke. People in their early twenties make more professional productions. Embarrassing stagnation.

It seems like most people on channel awesome has got worse than before. Brad doesn't even try to do a cinema snob character it's just him reviewing movies now.AwesomePizza wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 6:53 amYou know ten years ago I started painting Warhammer and I can see a massive improvement from then to now in my work.

Every time they stop doing their popular shit for something "new" they inevitably come crawling back and are forced to continue doing the same old shit because it is the only thing their retarded fan base wants to see.

I'm sure movies are hard to make, especially a good one, that's why hacks like RLM or James Rolfe can't even make a movie either

True. RLM puts out great content but Space Cop was abysmal.
Too many of these guys realize they don't have the budget to make the movie they want so they all decide they same thing:
Wouldn't it be funny to make an Ed Wood style movie with cheesy effects?
Which would be fine but they all make the same mistake too, they act silly. The key is to play silly characters straight if you get what I mean. Playing a silly character like "look at me, I'm silly. Aren't I funny?" is not entertaining for an audience. It's stupid.
Monty Python is a good example of low budget, but playing silly characters in silly situations straight.

Space Cop was basically the Half in the Bag skits but for 90 minutes. There's a reason those skits only last a few minutes it would get old quick.

Re: Brad Jones, The Cinema Snob
At least RLM and James tried their best.
Just cranking something out with minimal effort is lame.
Some of these Chicago nobodies should try teaming up and making something better. Not like those awful anniversary specials. Delegate duties and don't let anyone have too much control (especially Doge Walker). Use only the most talented people.

That would take money to do that so it's not happening, they are so much greedy they will never change how their collective scam worksLiar Revealed wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2018 9:21 pmAt least RLM and James tried their best.
