You're assuming that all of them are self-aware of what and who they are. I wouldn't put my money on them receiving any catharsis in critizism but I could easily believe that they snap at their asskissers but can't express into words why.

When you read Spoony's twitter you can really see a bitter, joyless, fat failure who wants everybody in the world to suffer just because he himself is unhappy.
