As his podcast ends with a whimper, I'm enjoying Marc Maron flailing angrily into irrelevance. He keeps saying that being right-wing and critical of trans people are the safest (and thus, most hack) positions to take right now. There's been some improvement there, but I think Maron doesn't grasp that for regular people in the world, there can be serious consequences for openly speaking about such things. Comedy about forbidden topics like that is a release.
