And that was like the least dumbest thing that happened.

The creator of the Time Lords somehow returned despite being very definitely dead, and now he's a CGI skeleton monster for some reason instead of y'know, a person.

Also the main antagonist of the season was an obscure 1980s villain who sucked even back in the old days. Basically imagine if that one Ferengi guy from TNG season 1 were suddenly the main threat.

Yes. That was his honest expectation. He thought the baffling accident of being able to find an audience the first time around is an actual skill of his.
What he didn't expect is that instead it's a great way of killing your channel by convincing YT that his viewership jumping ship means his channel shouldn't be recommended anymore. It's the algorithm working accurately and as intended.
